Kinder graduation for Ashlee

Ashlee had a great kindergarten year.  She got the teacher we requested, Mrs. Flora and had 2 of her best friends from church in her class.  She looked forward to going to school each morning.  On her last day of school that had a little ceremony where they sang songs, received a certificate and had cake.

Ashlee's 6th Birthday

Ashlee had a Hello Kitty themed party at our house.  She invited her cousins and a few friends over to swim and have pizza.  Her B-day morning started off at school with her class singing to her and then she passed out ice cream sandwiches.

6 THINGS ABOUT ASHLEE
1.  She is very friendly and loves playing with her friends.
2.  She is really into Hello Kitty, Princesses and Fairies.
3.  Her favorite movie is Frozen.  She got the soundtrack for her Bday and loves it.
4.  She is in dance taking tap and ballet.
5.  She is my best eater.  She loves sweets but also will eat any veggie and will try anything.
6.  She is the best big sister to Bryson.  They play really well.

Disneyland 4 Bryson's Birthday

Bryson was one happy Birthday boy when he heard he got to celebrate at Disneyland.  The weather was perfect and besides it being spring break for some we had a great time.  The only bummer was Bryson was not tall enough to ride the Cars ride at CA adventure he was pretty upset about that...Next time for sure hopefully he will be able to.

This last pic we had to take because his nickname is "pup"...so here's our Pup laying in the dog house at Toontown.

Our March Birthday Boys

Bryson's A Sunbeam

It's hard to believe our youngest is 3 and now in Sunbeams at church.  No more nursery kids for us.  He was so excited to go and loves his teacher, Sis Kerschen.

Christmas Dinner and The Beach

Some of the family after our Christmas dinner.
Arlan, Uncle D and Aunt Elaine doing a silly pic.
Our plan was to take everyone to our cabin in Big Bear Christmas night to enjoy some snow.  But since it was in the 80's this year we headed to the beach instead.  The kids had a great time playing in the sand and some even went in the water.

Holiday Traditions

It is so fun when the holidays come and we do our family traditions...Some things we do are bake my aunt Peg's sugar cookies; make homemade candy with my mom and grandma; read Christmas stories each night; see lights; write letters to Santa and build gingerbread houses. A new tradition we started recently is each Monday night (our family night) leading up to Christmas we read of the birth of Christ and have the kids open a family gift.  This year the kids got a Christmas game, a video, and gingerbread house kits.  Its always a gift we do as a family right after they open it.  The kids love it.  Here's some pics of our traditions this holiday season...

Ashlee was so excited that she could write her own letters to Santa this year.  Love her little 5 year old writing!
