Mothers Day

This year for mothers day we had an unexpected last minute visit from my mom, .  She has been serving a mission in Honduras for the past 3 years but had to come home for a few days for a surgery.  She stayed with us and hopefully her recovery was fine.  With 4 kids running around I'm sure it wasn't always the quietest but we sure enjoyed having her. 

Spring Break

It's always nice when the kids get a break from school and we get to do some fun family things.  This year for spring break they spent a couple nights at their cousins and then we went to our beach condo.  We really love it there and summer can't come soon enough!

Family Easter Dinner

We had such a great Easter dinner with my family.  Not everyone could make it this year and we missed them.  Here is my bro Bryan's cute girls and Ashlee.  We had a yummy ham dinner and delicious desserts.

Easter Morning

Our St. Pattys Baby

It's hard to believe our baby turned 3 on St. Patrick"s day.  He's not even a baby anymore(all though he is my last so to me he always will be)...  He's now an energetic , loving little boy.  We had a birthday dinner with all his favorites:  chicken nuggets, fettuccine, rolls, green punch, and a green mint n chip ice cream dessert.

                 Wahoo!  It's present and cupcake time!

Valentines Getaway

For Valentines this year Arlan and I were able to get away for a night.  We went down to San Diego and stayed in our condo.  The night we got there he surprised me and we went on a dinner cruise.  It was so fun.  We had a really good dinner,  Arlan got the steak and I had chicken.  After dinner you could walk around the top deck of the ship, that was beautiful. This I have to say was one of my favorite date nights. I love times like this when we can get away and just spend some time alone.  I love my man and appreciate all he does for me and our family!

Our Family Valentines Day

The day started off with the kids waking up to hearts hanging in their rooms. 

 Then we had a yummy dinner with Daddy when he came home from work.

 



Ashlee made cute heart place settings for everyone and help decorate the table with red balloons and streamers. 

 

 Every year we do a love scavenger hunt for the kiddies.  Here they are finding their clues.

We had a fun time as a family on Valentines.  The kids were surprised when they woke up to hearts hanging everywhere.  Then they were off to school / preschool for some parties there.  That night we did a family valentine party... for dinner we had Chinese food (the kids favorite),  red punch, and strawberry shortcake.  It was a great day being with the people i love the most.  Arlan thanked me that night for being such a great mom and wife and doing all those special things for our family.  I love creating these special memories for them.
